Spring is taking her sweet, old time arriving at my house and the dilly-dallying is wearing my patience thin. I’ve started looking elsewhere for the promises of renewal and growth I’ve been desperately craving after this long and dreary winter. The substitutes I’ve found, the bouquets of tulips and the forced daffodil and hyacinth bulbs purchased from the grocery store and humble road-side stand, have been more than adequate stand-ins for the real thing. They’ve brought a freshness and grace to my winter-weary home and temporarily satisfied my need for the beauty and color of this long-awaited season.

Because this half of the Flufflypants Gang was so intent on interfering with my carefully composed images (ha!), I thought I’d satisfy his ego and give him the spotlight for a moment, too. What a poser!
Have a wonderful day!
– (whether Spring actually makes an appearance or not)
excellent
Thanks!
In every winter there is a quivering spring…
So very true.
I couldn’t agree with you more. What lovely photos, thanks for the Spring Preview! And thank you for Liking my photo 🙂
You are welcome. I love the stormy skies in your photo. Thanks for stopping by!
Refreshing it is to have tulips at sight this morning..
I’m happy I could deliver them to you. 🙂
Affection is like infectious lullaby..aint it..? ..why not..?
Your flower images are just gorgeous! I had to come back and comment (fast paced days…so little time to relay to someone when they do great!), lovely words and images!
Thanks for your very kind words, Stan. They mean so much coming from a talented photographer like you. I’m glad you took the time – it made my day!
I have a smile on my face all the way through reading your post Stephany and has now turned into a grin as you images of part two of the fluffy gang lounges around as if nothing has happened and that he was interfering with your composition . Wonderful images
I’m glad you enjoyed the post, James. Sam, the cat, loves attention so he is fun to photograph – even when I don’t really want him in the photo. Many thanks for the compliment!
You are more than welcome Stephany
You are more than welcome Stephany and have a great weekend
Wonderful images. I love the photos of Sam. He is quite the poser.
Thanks for the compliment! Sam has a brother who is just as photogenic. I guess I should give him some face time, too.
