The Italian Chapel, which was lovingly constructed by Italian POWs, is an interesting little piece of World War II history tucked away beside a cow pasture on the main island of Orkney in the North Sea.
Today’s post is inspired by the Daily Post’s Weekly Photo Challenge.
I heard about this chapel a long time ago. I’d really love to see it myself one day.
I hope you do get the chance to see it. The artwork is amazing!
It certainly is very intricate, Stephany!
Absolutely stunning; this post deserves my ‘like’ and your blog deserves my ‘follow’.
Have a great day!:)

You’re very welcome, Stephany. 🙂
which camera equipment do you use to capture the scenes?
For this photo, I was using a Nikon D7000 and a Nikkor 18 – 300 mm lense.
ok. great 🙂
I love the Italian Chapel! If I were ever to get married, I’d be tempted to have it there.
