Moment (and Movement)

Photo101

Our bedroom is situated at the end of a hallway at the top of the stairs.  All the warm air from the first floor floats up the stairs, down the hall and into our room.  Even in the winter, the temperature in the room is usually too hot for comfortable sleeping.  This bothers my husband even more than it does me, so we installed a ceiling fan to make sleeping a more enjoyable experience.  The fan is programed to run based on the temperature of the room which means I often fall asleep or wake up to its gentle hum and accompanying breeze.

It’s 70º this afternoon (thank you, Spring!) and the fan is industriously fulfilling its purpose.  I took this photo while lying on the bed, resting for a few moments in the quiet before my family came home and the evening craziness began.
